The world of professional cycling is set to descend on Badwell Ash on Wednesday, 3rd September with the Lloyds Tour of Britain Men's race coming through the village.
The ToBcycling route will come from Walsham Le Willows, approximately 12:40pm and run the length of The Street through Badwell Ash. We anticipate riders to fly through from around 12:50pm to 1:00pm. This is the first time that Suffolk has hosted two stages of the race.
The full race route will be busy from 10:00am to 3:00pm. The roads will be following a ‘rolling road closure’ system to minimise disruption. They will be closed for a short window – approximately 30-40 minutes, while the race passes through. We advise residents to allow plenty of time for any planned journeys during these times.
This is a perfect chance for Badwell Ash to come together, show support & for our community to be part of a major national event.
