Call for Volunteers: Autumn Litter Pick Set for 3rd weekend in November
Residents of Badwell Ash and Long Thurlow are invited to join a community-wide litter pick on the third weekend of November to help keep the villages clean and welcoming.
The Parish Council is encouraging families, friends, and neighbours to come together to tidy up the local area in a collaborative community effort.
Litter picks will take place across both villages on the following dates and times:
Badwell Ash: Saturday, 15th November, meeting at 9:45 am at the Village Hall.
Long Thurlow: Sunday, 16th November, meeting at 9:45 am at Cutcheys Field, Long Thurlow Road.
The organisers will supply litter pickers, bags, and high-visibility vests. Volunteers are asked to wear sturdy footwear, bring their own gloves if they have them, and, most importantly, plenty of enthusiasm.
Whether you can spare a couple of hours or the whole morning, your help will make a visible difference in maintaining the beauty and safety of the villages.
